FAQ

Questions we hear often

Answers to common questions about working with Ghayah, our process, timelines, and what makes us different.

Working with Ghayah
The first step is a 45-minute discovery call where we learn about your training objective, audience, timeline, and technical environment. Based on that, we'll send a scoped proposal within five working days. There's no commitment required for the discovery call — it's how we figure out whether there's a fit. Book a call here.
We're currently operating from Cairo, Egypt, with a Riyadh headquarters opening soon. We serve clients across the GCC (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman), broader MENA (Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, UAE), and internationally where organizations need Arabic-language eLearning. Our team works remotely and we're experienced at managing distributed projects across time zones.
Our typical engagement starts from a single module (usually 30–60 minutes of learning content) or a focused LMS audit and strategy. We don't have a fixed minimum budget, but we're most valuable for organizations treating training as a strategic investment rather than a one-time checkbox. If you're unsure whether your project fits, the discovery call is the best place to find out.
Yes. Several of our clients keep us on retainer for ongoing module production, LMS administration, and content updates. Retainer arrangements typically make sense once we've completed an initial project together and have established templates, tone-of-voice guidelines, and platform access. Ask about this on your discovery call.
Process & Timelines
It depends on the complexity level. A polished Level 1 (rapid eLearning) module of 30–40 minutes typically takes 4–6 weeks from kickoff to final sign-off. A Level 3 branching scenario of similar length takes 8–12 weeks. VR/AR experiences are scoped individually. These timelines assume timely stakeholder feedback at each stage — delays in review cycles extend them proportionally.
We follow an iterative, milestone-based process: (1) Discovery & learning analysis, (2) Instructional design and storyboard, (3) Visual design and prototype, (4) Full development, (5) Review and revisions, (6) QA and delivery. Each milestone has a dedicated review period. You'll have a named project manager who's your single point of contact throughout.
Our standard engagement includes two structured revision rounds at each major milestone (storyboard, prototype, full build). Additional revisions are scoped separately. We find that clients who consolidate feedback within their teams and submit it as a single document use their revision rounds efficiently — we'll coach you on this process at kickoff.
Sometimes. Rush delivery is possible for Level 1 and Level 2 projects when our schedule has capacity. It typically involves a rush fee and requires stakeholders to commit to faster review turnarounds (48 hours rather than 5 days). VR/AR and serious game projects cannot be meaningfully compressed — the development complexity simply requires the time. Mention your deadline on the discovery call and we'll tell you what's feasible.
Technical & Platform
We develop in Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, and custom HTML5/JavaScript for highly bespoke interactivity. All deliverables are published to SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI (Tin Can), or AICC depending on your LMS requirements. We can also deliver as standalone web packages if you don't use an LMS.
Yes — LMS selection and implementation is a dedicated service we offer. We work with LearnWorlds, TalentLMS, LearnDash, Moodle, and other platforms. Our selection process starts with understanding your learner base, technical environment, integration requirements, and budget, then maps those needs to platform capabilities honestly — without favoring a particular vendor. Yes. All content we produce is responsive and mobile-optimized by default. For Rise and HTML5 outputs this is inherent to the format. For Storyline, we design mobile-first layouts. For VR content, we also develop for standalone headsets (Meta Quest) that don't require a PC — important for field deployment in operational environments.
Arabic & MENA
Yes — bilingual delivery is one of our core capabilities and a significant differentiator. We don't translate after the English is done; we design for both languages simultaneously. This means RTL layout is built into the visual design, Arabic type is set with the correct fonts and diacritics, and voice-over is recorded with native-speaker Arabic talent. We work with Gulf Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), and Egyptian Arabic depending on your audience.
Yes. We've localized content for clients in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE. Localization goes beyond language — it includes cultural review for imagery, scenarios, and examples; adjustment of regulatory and compliance references; and dialect adaptation for voice-over where needed. We can also advise on Saudi Vision 2030 and UAE NAT frameworks when training relates to national certification requirements.
